I am using Apple Color v1.5, have been on REDCODE 2.9.
Have a sequence that is cut together by using proxy files (I know, I know, wasn"t my call).
When saving a still from a grade, I noticed that stills are in fact slightly brighter - especially when I do a split-screen comparison of the still with the video from which the still was just taken.
Any insight on what might cause this????
ONe other weird thing is that this phenomena is only apparent on the preview external monitor (Panasonic 24" LCD), and does not show up on the secondary desktop monitor (the one that has scopes as well as the video). When flipping between video and still, the scopes show that something IS changing, but the video on that monitor stays the same, while the video on the external monitor changes.
Someith with video and still image using diffrenet LUTs when output to the external monitor? I am using Aja LHi card, HDMI or SDI out...
Any insight would be appreciated.
Cheers.
