Sure would be something for us Red One reservation holders and HD television producers to see Steve Jobs holding a RED ONE camera system in his hand as he introduces Jim Jannard to the stage to explain the Red Cinema and Final Cut Pro workflow solutions now and planned for the future.

Seems to me these two guys could make this quite an event!

Actually, Steve did an NAB keynote way back in 98, so it could happen again. It'd sure be worth watching, that's for sure. Final Cut Extreme with RedCode anyone?

Whos richer? Steve or Jim?

According to Forbes Magazine, Steve Jobs 2006 net worth was $4.4 billion USD, and Jim Jannard's 2006 net worth was $1.3 billion USD. Link: http://www.forbes.com/lists/2006/10/Name_14.html

Both highly successful entrepreneurs who started from scratch...no golden spoons. I'm sure they have respect for each other.

I don't know Steve Jobs, but I do know Jim Jannard, and though he's highly successful, he's a cool guy - no airs or attitude. That's easy to respect...

And Gibby is faster than me.

By probably only a microsecond! Speaking of fast, I'd like to be on a fast jet right now headed down to Oz for some southern hemisphere Summer (and waves).

Maybe the future holds really interesting stuff.....gadgets, pro solutions....

Oakley and Apple for future multimedial goggles and clothes
or
RED and Apple for future of media aquisition and editing

oh....dreaming on....

You never know...

I gave up believing in limitations a long time ago...

I did not know that. I would love to see it. I went to my first live keynote at NAB two years ago. it was when they released studio and all the upgrades. It was awesome but I was so bumbed when steve was hot there.

Or even North Queensland! 30°C at the moment where I am....sitting in a pair of shorts, sucking down a cold one! (waiting for #1124 to be called to te principals office!)

Good on ya mate!

1)the only persons i would like to see holding a RED on stage at NAB is the RED team ..
2)next will be us holding a RED at the booth ..
3) if S Jobs wants to introduce JJ & RED at a Mac World - OK ..
