3 1/2 weeks of prep came to a head today as we busted out our first shots of the movie tonight, rolls A001 & B001...
Crash is the DP, Mark from Offhollywood is supplying all of the 3d production services in a partnership with Mar Media, kosmos, camtec and supporting 3 x 3Ality Rigs; 1 TS5, 1 TS5 light and a TS 2.
I will post some BTS scenes pics as time and legal allow and i am sure mark, lucas, kavon, myself and some of the other people involved will chime in from time to time. I will say that it has been a great pleasure to finally get to work with mark as we have been knowing each other for a long time and spent many a day chatting about red this and red that, but now we finally get a chance to support one another on a pretty substantial endeavor.
crash as usual is a dream to work with and the crew that he has put together from the ac's to the camera ops, rig tech, stereographer, 3d engineer, key grip and gaffer are all top notch!
if you are in miami over the next 3 months, PM me and i will try and let you know were we will be, as most of the movie takes place in very public places.
