not sure about the title, but during the shoot I could still smell Jim's cigars:)
I don't usually show any of my corporate work but this one is an exception.
Small budget, shot on Red and zeiss zf's and nikon 300mm.

This is not final.

Nice work

Rich guy in suit boarding private jet with attractive PA holding Fintimes shots always makes me cringe...

It would be so much cooler if it was say, a bald guy in a black leather jacket..

Exceptional work nonetheless. I particularly like the tilt-shift style shot (I'm starting to see a lot of that now..) and the tracked Typography.

Excellent!

Good shooting and best regards,

Leo

Really beautiful work, Albert. Thanks for giving us a peek. The Global Express is a beautiful aircraft. My brother is a pilot and there's no greater thrill than knowing your kid brother is at the controls of a $40 million dollar airplane, flying you home. It makes me regret beating him up when we were kids.

Overall I liked it. Really made me wanna buy one of those.

Could benefit from better tracking for both, the flares and the type. Also there are a couple slo-mos that could be done with temporal flow for smoothness.

Also, do fix the black hole sun in the frontal crane up shot of the plane. you tracked in a flare but left the black circle.

That said, I really enjoyed it. Great color correction. It shows a lot of thought went into satisfying your client. I only can hope that you did this job as an exchange for one of their toys ;-)

Like it but not those "empty meaning" corporate messages and also the text with a "cheap effect" placing.

Nice work, Albert. This is looking great for a WIP and especially if the budget was low.

Corporate pieces like this are what I have shot most with my RED One. Sorry, I can't share any at the moment, I have one in particular that I would love to, but I'm not allowed.

I agree with most all the other comments here. Some of the tracking needs to be cleaned up a bit. It seems some of the type had some extrusion or depth on it, some does not, or not to the same degree. Definitely fix the black-hole-sun at 5:23. There's a similar overloaded sensor anomaly at about 2:22 on the girl's knee or a funny something there. Some of the transitions between slow-mo and regular speed is a little rough, some slow-mo's need to be smoothed. I don't know how much of that is due to the vimeo compression either. Sometimes hard to tell.

At a couple points, the type needs to be moved (IMO). At 2:04 and 2:11 -- Lots of screen area to use, why cover up the airplane?

I liked (and agree with) Ace's comment about the tall, old guy boarding the plane with the fine, young, female assistant. I'm assuming that this is what they wanted... The tilt/shift effect was nice too. It's definitely getting a lot of use lately with DSLRs being used everywhere now. I'm guilty of using it a lot myself over the last year or so.

Not sure what the target is for run time, but it seems a bit long-winded.

All in all a great piece. I'd love to see the final version. ...This looks like a cool job, I would've loved to shoot this!

thank you all for the feedback!
it's still a work in progress for me, so there is still place for improvement.
I'll have to make some sacrifices as the time is short.
The text is going through marketing now so it'll get a makeover (hopefully)
This project was a complementary addition to their brochure and no one put any importance to it, because of that, we had complete carte blanche

As far as the shot with the assistant boarding the plane...I agree...and will change it.
it's hard to sacrifice some nice shots for the benefit of overall edit:)
more tracking...patching.
Jeff
the black on her knee is badly done luma key, and needs to be redone.

Taylor
I shot it over 9 days .
The crew for 5 days was me, junior gaffer and grip.
Few days I did alone with my client (who rolled up his sleeves and worked hard as all of us).
One day we had larger crew with crane, operator, make up
Everyone in it are real employes from there.
The millionaire is the only cast (friend director who did not mind playing a millionaire for a day)
For camera movement, I used mostly home made pvc dolly, omnitrack and pocket dolly.
Lenses were set of ZFs, 14mm nikon for the crane, 300mm old nikon and piece of s... peleng for the fish eye.
for light I used couple of jokers, coollights LEDs, couple of tungsten arri.
The Tilt-shif is fake.

Hi Albert,
great!
I hope (wish you a lot) the client will give you the big budget too after seeing this. Don´t forget then to make some shots over here in France, so we can have a couple of beers, or a decent glass of wine with a cigar.
I like the CC a lot. Apple Color or AE? BTW, did you upgrade to MX?
Thank you for sharing!

Cheers,

Marc

Hey Marc !
Great to hear from you:)
I used after effects for some cc and comp. I also did some work in Davinci, which I got recently. I am however not too comfortable with it yet. Going from Premiere did not really work either.
I didn't go for MX, instead I invested in lights.
I also hoped that I can put my money straight into the Epic.
Hope life is good for you!

Albert

Great work Albert!

hehe
is it the one with sexy turning bed and red velvet upholstery ?

HAHAHA, not that extremist, hard to believe but I am a Man of Fine taste for UltraModern and Minimalistic Withes Blacks and Reds, but yeah RED is my favorite Color, followed by Black and Withe ;)

It's a really nice bit of work, Albert. I envy you - I love shooting planes.

(I don't want to be that guy, and I expect you know this, but at 4:58, "Customer" is spelled wrong.)
