I was reading an article recently about a Predator base in Colorado. One quote that struck me as interesting was one of the pilots describing a recent kill that his drone carried out in Afghanistan. He basically said, "We saw a target of interest, went weapons hot, and successfully deployed our weapons. Then we set our drones on auto-pilot back home and went down the street to get some Taco Bell for lunch. It was surreal. Eating Taco Bell after possibly killing insurgents."
There certainly are many interesting implications in the future of unmanned combat.
