I really like the stuff in the crazy party, the bicycle shots and the basketball shots. Good work. I do notice a quality difference in some shots though. I would lose those low quality and soft focus shots altogether. If you can afford to. Great work!

You are obviously competent but.... Give us some longer shots early on - you're here to prove skill, not really make an entertaining video to a general audience or to sell yourself as an editor. We want to see that you can hold a long time and give us high usability percentage. Also, do not repeat shots, it makes us think you lack experience - fine if reel is shorter. Here and there I see boating, remove those shots.

I say this as someone who used to shop for Steadicam ops and look at these reels before I met my wife (who is one).

Special thanks to Rob, that is exactly the kind of feedback I was hoping to get. I may re do this cut as my general operating reel and rethink the steadicam reel. Many of the clips that I cut up through the reel are really solid long shots. That along with some long takes from a short I recently worked on that I haven't been able to get my hands on yet.
