Hello, everyone!
We have a little problem. We need to sync two cameras. To send data from one camera to the second one. We have got 3bnc-to-00 sync cable (2 pcs). Could we make sync using these cables or we need another cables?
Hope for your help!
We really try to study the manual, but it is difficult to translate correctly...

It depends what you mean by saying "sync".

3BNC-to-00 cable can be used to connect to external time code generator and/or external Genlock. The former would jam sync the time code, the latter would synchronise the shutter.

Gig-E cable can be used to synchronise the operation of two cameras in a stereo 3D pair, so that a change to settings, roll or stop, would be trigered simultaneously.

As you can see, there are at least 3 different things to "sync": TC, Genlock and Operation and each one is acomplished differently.

This has been covered in 3D section, which you may like to search.

hope it helps

Hi, Pawel!
We haven't got external time code generator and/or external Genlock, just two Scarlet.
We would like to get the situation when you press Rec button at the thirst camera and at the same moment the second camera should start Record too. And of course we need to recieve the same time code on the both cameras.
As I understand we have to use Gig-E cable to solve our problem?
Thanks a lot!

Gig-E cable will not ensure the same time code on both cameras. You will need either an external T/C generator or PRO I/O module.
