This is the trailer to Oak Park High School's entry in the Atom Films' Star Wars Fan Movie Challenge:

www.youtube.com/oakparkhighschool

The film is a collaboration between Red River Community College's Digital Media Technology program and Oak Park's Independent Film Class. Unfortunately, the 3d animation clips being made by RRCC students were not available at the time of the release of this preview. The final film will screen June 9th-11th at Oak Park. Special thanks to William F. Whites, the City of Winnipeg and Steven Kostanski for all your help!

The film was a lot of work and learning by our students. Hope you enjoy the preview. Here's a quick look at the contest website for those interested:

Reminds me of high school!

Was this shot on Red?

-1 for music from the Prequels. :cornut: Otherwise looks like fun. I think you can do a little better with the grading though. :)

Thanks for watching folks. This was shot on the schools Red. Most days I'm just happy the sound is able to be sync'd back up.

Steven was able to run a 3 hour class a few weeks before we started shooting which was a huge lift to our students confidence. A wealth of experience!

Hey you should enter some of the high schools work to the U of W's film festival, deadline for applications is April 5th.

Unfortunately our next two films won't be done till June. I'll take a look at the details. We have a music video we could submit if they have a category.

One of our films from last year is in the National Screen Institute film festival.
