After finishing the Book "The Making of Star Wars" I was inspired to seek out and find The Star Wars Christmas Special.

Wow.

This is such a weird nugget of 70's strangeness. It's just... dense.

I can't imagine anyone involved in this NOT being high.

Just so... WTF?
 
Just purchased "Star Wars 1000 collectibles" at a remainder store. It's much better than Star Wars Vault and flipping through it made
me happy. The collector is from California.
 
I recently saw some of it online as well here. I buried that little gem deep in my subconscious decades ago, along with some other childhood traumas. Watching it again gave me flashbacks.
 
Just... horrible.

I love it during the opening credits when they list the special guest stars. Beatrice Arthur. Art Carney. The Jefferson Starship. Brought to you by our friends over at the Cocaine Producers of Columbia.

Dan, there's no doubt in my mind everyone was high on that production. :D
 
I don't know what you guys are talking about. This is one of my absolute favorite christmas flicks EVER! The total genius that goes into something this odd is nothing to scoff at. Of course they were all on acid and mounds of cocaine! That's what makes it soooooooooo brilliant. I won't tolerate another bad word about it :)
