Standby mode on raven ?

Hello, I have a question for the expert you are.

Is there a way to put the Raven in standby ?

It's strange to shutdown the camera between takes. It's also strange to let the camera on whitout recording.

Do you know if there is a fast way to put the camera in standby or in sleep mode by pressing a button fo example ?
The idea could be to assign the function to a button on the redmini mag but I don't know if it's possible.

There is a sleep mode on the camera that you can setup through the menu system, but I believe a lot of us leave the camera up almost 100% of the time. Because of the importance of keeping your black shade calibration temperature - it's much easier to keep the oven cooking at those numbers.

I'm not sure how much time or power you may save by using the sleep mode, but that's my take.

How are you powering?

I use only two batteries currently.

I don't know what is the black shade calibration temperature. But I think I should try it very soon !
Do you have some advice or a thread speaking about the black shade calibration ?
