I know this trailer has been out for a few weeks already.. but I just saw another chunk of this film and the cinematography is just absolutely stunning. Shot on Epics and Scarlets in Russia with an incredibly low budget. Lots of VFX but more of this is in camera than you would expect...

First impression is that the film is more like The Wild Bunch than one of my favorites... Enemy at the Gates. But it's hard to really know a movie by its trailer.

Enemy at the Gates helped drive home visually the words I had read about the Battle of Stalingrad. War is Bad!... but it does act as a laboratory to measure the plasticity of a human being individually or as a group.

Hahaha, by Hollywood standards, maybe, but in Russia that is one of the biggest films... like a Hobbit, or some summer blockbuster with Tom Cruise.

30 million USD in hollywood doesn't really count as a big blockbuster budget anymore... Not for a movie that looks this big.

I worked on the finishing the graphics for that trailer - yaay, awesome movie

I also saw the footage at Red Open House - and then when we got the opportunity to work on the trailer, I was pretty excited!

Anyone see the trailer in 3D? I spent a while trying to get the title graphic right in ze stereo.

Still, it hardly does justice to the awesomeness of the actual footage.

Holy ^&*, lovely looking film...apparently 30 million, a few RED cameras...(and a boat load of talent) is all you need to make films look this big today.

Jarred is correct, 30 million by hollywood standards is an indie budget. Look forward to this. cheers.
