  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Stage 3.5 was offered to those wanting to buy a Red One, so not to be without camera till Epic was out, so Jim kindly offered the possibility with stage 3.5 to buy a Red ONe and Trade it in for the full value of $17,500, no accessories no Discount on the Epic either as in previous stages.

Add:

To further put things in perspective here, just think s if Canon was to sale you a Band New 5D II, let you use it for an untold number of Months, then trade it at full value for the 5D III. (like anything of the likes would ever happen, hehe)
 
Can someone point me to the official post on stage 3.5? With the newly announced delays and a deadline fast approaching for me to purchase cameras I'd love to be able to know that I can buy a Red One now and move up to Epic once it is shipping. Or am I too late and is 3.5 already closed?

You can not apply any were, either you had a Red One or Leased one with option to purchase, and then when Red will announce the beginning of stage III you and the owner of Record can place the deposit and or enter the stage III under which Red will dictate the rules of engagement, which could require a deposit or not, but it would make sense to have the need for a deposit, and then when the Epic-X form stage III is ready to ship the Red ONe in your possession would have to be sent in for the Trade and the Epic-X stage III and its included accessories will be shipped out.

If you are a Stage 3 707, don't expect an email until all the Stage 2 cameras have been delivered.
