Stage 2 Participants - Later Sale of RED One - When ownership transfer?

I wonder when the users taking part in stage two (if selling their RED Ones after indicating their participation in Stage 2 and paying the deposit) do an ownership transfer on their red one if sold?

RED's site (http://reservation.red.com/reservation/login) says:
AFTER SUBMITTING THIS ONLINE STAGE 2 ORDER FORM, ANY RED ONE SERIAL NUMBERS USED ON STAGE 2 WILL BE MARKED AS "EXECUTED".

so, technically, after going through the reservation form and placing the deposit, since the R1 serial is executed, its ownership can be transferred?

or one needs to wait for EpicX physical delivery?

to clarify, i'm talking about ownership transfer with RED & on their books (not physical transfer of red1 cam)
