  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Staff Pick - Shot on Scarlet

Nice work with the camera.

Great example too of what can happen when a bunch of individuals talented in all the different aspects of production collaborate on a project.

Some great stuff to be found following the links to the the subjects' photographs and the directors other video's as well.

Thanks.

Really GREAT work...

Very well done. Not just the visuals but also the sound and music, and overall content.

Was that a slo-mo shot at around the 1:28 to 1:31 mark?

J.M. This is dope, man! Great Job!

Fantastic work my man.

I have question for ya. All VSCO related videos tend to be colored with their VSCO presets. Did the same process happen with your video? Couldn't imagine it did since you shot with the Scarlet, but I am curious.

Gotcha. Thanks. Big fan of your subject as well, Rog Walker is a great photographer. Again great work buddy, well deserving of the staff pick.

BIG UP ALL INVOLVED!
Rog shot me this summer at his Bronx studio, good dude for sure!

Great tone to this whole piece. I especially love the shot-reverse-shot of the photographer and the subject looking directly into your lens. Doesn't feel forced at all.

I live in Queens, so we should cross the river and shoot some stuff together some time.

Thanks for sharing!

Great work man) Also i love the color correction) its a very good example how scarlet can work with a person who know what he is doing) perfect) could u help me please: i am really confused and tired about compression on vimeo.... could u write your compression workflow for exporting to vimeo) i ve tried everything - compressor, handbrake, straight export from fcpx i think i am doing smth wrong. how to make the picture so clean on vimeo practically the same as at home) i ve seen your picture here - it is even clean without any "bad pixels" even at full screen)
