Adam - to the right of format Option when you open the "format media" dialog box - secure format is in there.

I was going to suggest Secure Format too but I figured this might already be something part of your normal practices.

Red was offering a trade in program for old media to new Mini ssds, I would get it back and see if you can open a ticket for that with your bomb squad rep.

What is the RED media trade in, I never got the details? Like what's the value (also, do you have to have Dragon)?

Shall do, what a strange bug to come up.

Strange indeed, how do you usually handle your cards? Format on PC/Mac involved? However, glad you have fixed it by downgrading. If it worked for ~10 days and then out of nowhere not, then it looks like a bug.

But i'm wondering about the error-message itself, "reduced speed" for non-RED media? I would expect the camera to reject non-RED-media completely.

It is indeed in Camera. in the same format window youll see advanced and it right there...
