SSD mounting issues

Hi
I am having problems mounting Redmags on Mac OS 10.7.5.
The first SSD I put in the Redstation mounts fine.
Then I unmount it and put a different SSD in the Redstation, but it won't mount on the desktop.
I have to go to disk utility which lists the previously mounted mag greyed out.
If I then right click and select 'mount drive' the newly mounted SSD appears on the desktop.
Doing this every time is a minor hassle.

I only noticed the problem after updating RX to v17.2
Could it be related to Redwatchdog, or is it the Mac OS?
Any better workaround or advice is appreciated.

I tend to just turn the SSD reader off and on between SSDs. Seems to make mounting more reliable.

+1 on turning off the SSD reader after unmount. Weird bug.
