Hi Guys,

here is a sample from my motion stills glamour shoot with an australian dancer & swimwear model, also the first time I got to try out my CineMoco slider with the Epic. Shot available light and at 95 fps:

Here is a still frame from the same shooting day but different scene, Full Res TIFF export from RedcineX then slight retouch in Photoshop. Lens was the 17-50mm RED Zoom:

Nice boobies!

Clouds are clipped

thank you Brandon, they sure are Josh, did a test shoot with my cine moco slider, and having the full setup with mattebox, rails and filters on there is a bit too much for the little rig :/ sky would have been nicer with a POLA for sure.

Good to hear your eval. Was considering the rig for Epic. What's the next best choice for a super lightweight travel slider? Jib?

Josh: Have a look at my first test with the cinemoco here http://www.reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?94287-CineMoco-Slider-First-Quick-Weight-Test&highlight=

I think its a great system and it definitely handles the epic, just not on full blown production mode with 19mm rails, big mattebox and all. in the other threat video i have the epic plus, side handles, top handle, LCD and Vlock batteries on the slider and it can manage the weight fine, but its definitely at its limit.
The cool thing about the cinemoco is that the motor is right on the sled, not the slider itself, so you can take it off the rails and use it as motorised tabletop dolly on any smooth surface. if you want small and super lightweight, this is the way, this thing literally breaks down into 4 little bags that fit into any regular backpack.

The still is insane! in a good way :)

Exxxcellent :) Ok I was mezmerized for the first few runs of the video, but after I grew up a little the video is stunning in other ways other than the models beauty and boobies :)

Hi Dominik,

really nice footage, and excellent color grade both for the stills and motion. I'm wondering was the difference of grading meant to be so pronounced? is it possible to make the transition between stills/motion more seamless?

I thought that the flickring of the (silver?) flakey was a bit distracting (but I only noticed it from the 5th view onwards :-)
Great work and subject

hey ethan

oh this can be trimmed and tightened more accurately for sure, im just teaching myself editing at the moment, so someone with experience could do so much more.
yeah the reflector flickering is a bit of an issue, i used squarebounce reflectors which aren't hards surface, they tend to flap a little bit if there is wind, great results though when you pull individual stills from the footage though which I tend to do a lot with this stuff.
