Has anyone used the hand grip system shown here: cameraaccessorysolutions.com

I'm looking for a nice one or two handed setup that won't break the bank and these look pretty nice and the price is right.

These rock!
Camtec and Clairmont use these as their standard Handheld rigs for almost every music video i have ever worked. They are super simple and very configurable.

In fact, the new mantis redesigned handles will probably use a similar horizontally positioned rosset at one of the joint in order to adjust the handles, which in my opinion is a fantastic approach.

The only issue with these as opposed to the mantis is that it does not have a shoulder pad, but honestly i am a strong believer in a gel bike pad and 2" velcro.

it rocks and is super comfortable and quick.

If you do a decent amount of HH work these are a great solution.
If you are planning to shot a boatload of HH, ie: a feature film in HandHeld
then go with the mantis, if not then these rock, my personal favorite HH unit now.......for the price.

Thanks Ernesto. Yeah its down to the mantis or these. Just depends on how much i can swing this month. I need something for a 3 day short. 80 percent hh. But i may have a feature later this year.

Evin, do you have any extensions for the handles or is it just the two handle setup they show on the website for $650?
