  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Okay - assuming I can get some sleep - Saturday AM I'll post some special OMOD IBC / CINEC BUNDLES that will be good until end of September.

OMODs, new WOODEN CAMERA D-BOX (Weapon), new WOODEN CAMERA ULTRA ARMS, OFFHOLLYWOOD mounting aks, OFFHOLLYWOOD cables and RTmotion madness.

Orders shipped in the order they are received.

Tomorrow is too busy to get them up online - and I need to beat up Ryan and Kris - but Saturday is the day.

I'll post links and details in this thread.

And the folks that come visit me in RED booth tomorrow can "suggest" what they want in their bundles.

All bundles deals will be good until October 1st.

All customers who have pre-ordered OMODs - can shift to bundles if they want as well.

In addition to these bundles - I think the WC D-Box (DSMC2) is such a perfect partner to OMOD - I decided to put options for WC D-Box (DSMC2) and OMOD Top Plate in the drop down options of the product pages and you save over $400 on OMOD Command and OMOD Command RT if you just want D-Box and a Top Plate.

Same thing on POE and XLR - except it's the WC Cable-less battery plate instead of D-Box (DSMC2) - and you save over $200 by adding WC cable-less battery plate and out OMOD top plate.

No substitutions - if there is something in a bundle you don't want or need - just sell it.

If you have already paid for an OMOD that has not yet shipped to you - and you want to MOVE TO A BUNDLE - just email shop (at) offhollywoodny.com - and we will build a shopping cart to charge you the difference and you need to pay that before October 1st.

If you are one of our special "Early Adopters" and paid a deposit to get into that program and have not yet paid for an OMOD - email shop (at) offhollywood which bundle you want - and we will make a special cart for you - and we will timestamp you in shipping order based on your email - you will need to pay before October 1st.

Since I'm traveling between IBC and CINEC - I might be slow to answer questions - your patience is appreciated.

We have production units of COMMAND and COMMAND RT already built now - but we are tweeking firmware, working on some quickstart guides and need to go through RED's 3rd party certification on those two OMODs before we ship - so, it's looking like a perfect storm for early / mid OCTOBER.

Interest on OMOD XLR at IBC has been substantial - we have a very small batch in mid October for RED to certify and for field test by leading media company - and then full production for mass quantity takes 6-7 weeks - so, MAYBE November - most likely December - but orders will ship first in, first out - so if your heart is set on OMOD XLR, you should buy asap if you are in USA - or contact your RED dealer and see if they can set up an order with us ASAP.

(IBC/CINEC bundle deals are only available direct from our web store)

We are working hard on setting up the dealer channel - obviously targeting RED dealers - if your are outside the USA - please tell your RED dealer you want to buy OMODs from them - but you can obviously buy direct from us if your local dealer isn't set up with us.

Right now we are in the process of getting set up with:

VOCUS

and several others.

Hello,

I don't understand this bundle : COMMAND RT & Latitude-Sidekick Bundle #1. As it has two lens/FIZ modules, the one built int the Command RT and another one on the Sidekick. Can you explain what it could be used for?

Pat, the Latitude-Sidekick gives you motor control outputs at the from of the camera body.

Other than that it's a nice way to pick up both, at a savings, to allow you to build different camera configurations when you need to. Or perhaps some folks who are shopping for two DSMC2 bodies would put one on each brain.

Overall I think Mark has some great deals here if you're looking to go the OMOD direction - which is a pretty awesome direction.
And like Mark said, if a bundle includes something you don't need... You can sell it :)

Yes I'm eager to buy some sound moudule. Just a simple dual XLR input (or 2xTA3 or even 1xTA5) with 48v and AES, somme good preamp and manual+visual controls over volume.

My order is allready in for the Sidekick @ RTmotion.
