The US dollar has been in decline versus the Japanese Yen for some time now, which sucks if you're a US production trying to shoot here in Japan.
With the JPY/USD ratio passing 81 today, I thought it would be nice to try to help correct the imbalance a bit as it relates to the part I can control - rental of our services and equipment.
So from now until the 31st December 2010, all US productions coming to shoot here in Japan will get 20% off the price of our services and equipment. At that point I'll recheck the ratio and if it's still needed, I'll keep the deal going.
It's my little part in helping Hollywood, a place I hope to be a part of some day, make it easier to consider shooting here.
