Fox Glacier, Westlands, NZ.

Karen and I were filming since February 14th here on the South Island, NZ and our hosts and friends have been in the heart of it all! It is actually overwhelming in truth! The aftershocks are numerous and that is the insecure situation.

This is our first web connection, in two weeks! So please forgive the brief.

We are now safe and just wanted to reach out and say thanks to the 720 emails. We hike up into the Southern Alps to film for several days, in a few hours when weather clears, and we hope these aftershocks calm down. Ice falls are nice but chunks are of concern.

The photo, Karen took, of Ice from the earthquakes shaken from the Fox Glacier at the Glacier toe!

We are glad to be amongst the greatest people and friends as this unfolded!

Best to all, back in late March!

Peace & LUV, Kennan & Karen Ward

Hey Kennan! Glad you are ok. How long will you be there? I am coming down to to NZ first week of March.

Check your email. I just sent a note.

Be safe Kennan & Karen! Remember, no shot sequence is worth your lives...

Obviously experiences like you're having in NZ go with the work of world-traveling outdoor shooters. I've had a ton of them myself - Chile 8.8 + tsunamis, hurricanes, tornadoes, volcanic eruptions, etc.

Me and Pam are looking forward to getting together with you two again sometime after you return :)

Peace & Luv to you too,

Steve & Pam
