  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

This was an interesting one, the film was primarily shot on the Arri D-21, we also mixed shots from the Canon 5D and we recently shot pickups (which I directed some of, in my Elephant shirt) on RED.

All 3 cameras look great, I was impressed with the Arri D-21 having never seen footage first-hand. It suffered badly in low light which is a pity.

No screen grabs but some cool behind the scenes that I thought I would share. The Red footage looked great, using build 20 I believe.

Dit lyk baie mooi man, pragtig!

What was the feature or are you under NDA on any info? If no NDA, can we expect to see it out on the festival circuit or is it a local release only?

Ha ha! That looks pretty cool. And as luck would have it, I'll be out in South Africa in April so will get to check it out. Is that the ubiquitous Mr Ian Roberts I spotted in one of the scenes (smoking a pipe)?
