Can Someone Help me ? I have a Sennheiser MKH416 P48 Boom Mic,
and i cant be able to make the sound work on the Red Camera, I have all the Cables and adapters from Red, but i cant make the Phantom Power Enabled in the Sound Menu, because i believe that this microphone needs Phantom power to Work,

So can Someone help me make this Microphone works on the Red One Camera ?

Thanks

I have the same mic and the same problem. I had to turn on ALL audio ports and phantom power on all to get it to work. So you will end up having 4 audio channels in your final movie file, but 3 of them will be "empty" and the one will have data, just unlink the audio (in FCP) and delete the empty 3 and duplicate the one with data 3 times, or just leave it as the single audio layer... whatever, you just wanted to know how to make it work, and thats how to do it :) Good luck!

Just for balance, I have a different phantom mic (a Rode) and it works fine with the phantom from the Red using only one enabled channel. Wonder why the mic itself would be doing this?

Consider posting this to Audio section of Reduser. Lots of smart guys hang out there.
