Wasn't sure which forum to post this, but figured more people using Sony NP-F powered gear would be here. Basically does anyone know of a solution where you could effectively put a cheese plate or any other mounting option in a battery plate compartment? I recently got the GDU Ghost Plate for the Komodo (ah made it forum specific lol), and while it's somewhat niche, it's also extremely useful when you need it, now I'm getting obsessed with 'ghost' plates in general.

Specifically, I have a Video transmitter which I power externally, but would love to make use of the dead space on the back of it where the Sony NP-F receiver is, and maybe work a V-Mount Wedge on there or another quick release option.

Any ideas? I don't even know what to google for. Maybe a potential project for anyone making gear, I'd definitely be your first buyer!

Which device with a Sony NP-F receiver are you referring to?

I've thought about this as well. Specifically for mounting a Teradek to the back of a Monitor. I power my Cine7 with Lemo but have wanted to mount the teradek off the back and that was one idea. I glued a cheeseplate to a dummy battery.
