I think Leica M (27.8mm) is the shortest one usuable on RED.

Or you build an OLPF wich changes the backfocus distance of the lens...

Would be fantastic if RED can! After all Kinefinity can do it.

And with the VENICE having E mount, and the Fujion Cine Zooms in E mount, and Veydra and SLR Magic Cine Primes in E mount as well, there is a lot of support for this system that RED users could take advantage of as well if they had an E mount

When Adobe and Davinci start supporting KineRAW (their implementation of cineform RAW) MAVO is a very good option.
6k, S35 and FF35, standard sata SSD's, cineform RAW, all the lens mounts in the world, 14+ stops, cheap good quality lenses, etc...
