The new Scarlets updates sounds really interesting but to be honest Im not sure what all this mean. Maby some one could be nice explane more.
What is the new VDSLR? Is there any Redforum dictionary I missed that you could look up worlds?

2. New FLUT Color, Gamma and Sensitivity Science. Now same as EPIC.

What does this mean? What is Sensitivity Science? Does FLut stand for "Fantastic" lookup Table;)

4. Interchangeable Lens mounts including focus and iris control of electronic RED, Canon and Nikon lenses, along with Zoom data (Scarlet 2/3" Interchangeable)

Doesn't the fixed Scarlet save zoomdata?

5. "Touch Focus Tracking" with electronic lens mounts and RED touchscreen LCD's (Scarlet 2/3" Interchangeable and 8x Fixed)

Does anybody no how the "Touch Focus Tracking" would work? Sounds very interesting I want to learn more.

7. Scaled 1080P at 60fps

Are we talking about a scaled output to ref monitor? Can it do 50fps aswell?

Maby its no one that knows more about some of this details but, hey you got to ask to learn more.

Yea I guessed V should stand for video. Would be good with a dictionary:smile5:

Hope we get some more info on the Touch Focus Tracking soon!
Would not hurt with little more explanation in the infoupdates.

I'm still wondering... a Nikon mount on a 2/3" Scarlet means a bad crop factor...

1. I think that "Scaled 1080P 60fps"... means that you can record a 1080 RAW video using all the 3K sensor of the Scarlet and not only a part of it.
In this way you can keep a good DOF... in the old specific was "Scaled 1080P 30fps"... so now you can also get a good rallenty!!
