Have your projects in separate pages
This way you keep it as a triangle, Simple, efficient, and easy to navigate no matter how many projects you have going.

In reply to your comments and in the sake of trying to give more of an understanding of what is that I'm doing or trying to do in Facebook...


The Tree of Life, is a Megaproject, and you'll understand soon how mega, as I'll be finally making this announcement, and in it, it contains all of my other projects, the Studios, the Industries, Humanitas, etc.

Tree of Life will not have much activity for at list an other year or so, Industries, like wise, while the Studios, and Humanitas will begin to be active with the starts of Principal Photography for Rape of a Beauty after Summer.


I would definitely Tweet all the updates made in to the Facebook Page/s and on the sites, but just also trying to better understand how to best proceed now.


I think that there are two strong and valid points you guys have made here, and it is the reason why I have posted this question here, because I too am dived with how to proceed.



1) Do a single page to the benefit of having less work to do in keeping them updated, as well as having the interested followers only have to subscribe to one page.

2) Do individual pages for the benefit that the info given per each matter remains about that, and not buried under the other updates relevant to the other matters.



So one gives simplicity, yet takes the risk of having too much information in one page, the other gives individual information with the risk of having too much to follow??

already have created the individual pages, and also have all the domains and registered names in process, as well as the domains and sites built.

The reason for multiple Fan pages was exactly that too, meaning that if some one has no interested in my Humanitarian, or Technology developments, would not appreciate getting updates when al that they are interested in is info about the Studios, and viceversa.

Agree in individual fan pages for everything. Different people from different fields may be fans of your different projects. Its also a lot easier to target your different products to different audiences. You must, however, have a clear strategy of communication on each one of those channels and what you want to achieve with them. Try not to post redundant information between the pages, only when said information ends up relevant for all. The personal "Ketch Rossi" fan page will definitely evolve as your other products get more successful. I would concentrate on the individual projects fan pages first, then the interest in the "man" will follow. GO for it, Ketch!

I was also thinking in this terms, as I already currently give info thru my personal page.

At the same time I want to avoid some one interested only in my Humanitarian causes to have to get updates about the Studios or the Technology discussions.


Yeah any one that follows m eon tweeter or in Facebook, knows that I post every so often, I'm not one of those annoying caracthers such s few we know even from this forum, that post every day because they just cant help, or look for post count, I don't post about going to the Bathroom, or the fact that I just c=got something to eat, or just gone to bed...

The Pro I see in having a single new FAN page were to post all info about all my projects is that this way people interested in all that I'm doing don't have to join all the different pages and get updates for all the different pages.

if I went with only one page I was thinking either the "KETCH ROSSi" or KETCH ROSSi TREE of LiFE" , as it will be all contained under this Megaproject.

Here's my advice. DON'T INVEST TOO MUCH TIME IN FACEBOOK I don't think anyone on this forum has more understanding than me about social media I have over 140,000 followers on twitter and 62,000 on instagram and I know one of the hardest things to do is getting people to like a Facebook fan page what I would do is create one regular Facebook page with all you photos and videos and info. Invest your time in twitter and when you have some new tweet a link directing people to Facebook where they can view the information. But in order to do this properly you need to get your numbers up on twitter

An old friend of mine says an old marketing adage..."fish where the fishes are." So who is your market? How do yconger in contact with them...and then connect with them, what do you want of them? What are you going to tell them. And how are you going to tell them that?.....but not necessarily in that order.

I believe that for Facebook, the market will be simply within those that already follow me, and their friends, and friends of friends, which most are within our Industry, but of course I intend to widen the perspective of that.

Of course this is also a temporary thing, but might as well try to started the best way.
