  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

OK lets get the facts correct on this one. Harry Potter is shooting on Arricams & film and they are only using Red One cameras for particular shots in a motion control rig. If the Dalsa had fitted the rig their preferred choice would have been that camera.
Red has come a long way but some folks on here like distorting facts.
 
So it's probably replacing a 'rack over' paralex Fries Mitchell,
Exciting stuff. Not.
Every VFX Co. on the planet seems to be ordering RED so get used to more
of RED shooting this, that or the other.
Like saying 'Paris Texas' was shot on Super 8 cause it contains a small 'home
movie' sequence filmed in that format.
Please don't bulls**t guys, let the camera gets it's own good Rep. and good
'word of mouth' as it develops into the reliable package that could one day shoot the next H.Potter B.Buster as main unit.
