Be sure you have these "Color Management settings"

Make sure you have or have created a "High-Contrast"/"Very Soft" Output Transform Lut With a "Color Space=Rec 709" and a "Gamma Curve= BT1886(Gamma 2.4)" in your Davinci Resolve "Lut Folder"

Instructions

1) Place both files in the same folder.

2) Go to "Gallery" Tab in Resolve.

3) Right click and choose "Import" or "Import with output lut", I have seen no difference.

4) Change the default "DPX" to "PNG"

5) Then import the "Resolve grade of skin.png" only the .PNG file will be visible but it will bring in the .DRX file as well

I challenged myself to recreate your grade with as few adjustments as possible outside of the RAW controls:

40438222130_abc1d455df_k.jpg

ISO 250, exposure +0.1
WB: 5600K, Tint: -4

Output LUT - RED IPP2 Rec709 High Contrast/Soft Rolloff

Single node (before output LUT): -0.18 on RGB in shadows (log) wheel, low range of 0.315

I just bumped into this video.

And I am amazed how lowlight and how much DR this monstro has. At what ISO do you figure they were filming? As it seems they were using a small aputure because everything is in focus. F10? So Iso is probably way up there. Or am I missing something. really impressed with this.

Some frames about my last TVC on my red Monstro (Paid full price :cryin: :banghead:) . Colors looks amazing, noise floor is much more better than Helium and it's such a pleasure to shoot large format.... Light weight configuration for my Ronin2/ready rig with Celere lenses.

pictures with non color grading, only IPP2 medium/soft
