SolidPod Slim Cfast with Komodo?

[chris ware]

Hello

Has anyone tried to use a cfast to SSD drive for recording? SolidPod seem to have several nice options.

Outside of the fact that it took Solidpod almost 6 months to ship, when I finally did receive it, it works more reliably than the factory Angelbird cards.

Wow, ok. I just ordered two Angelbird cards. What problems did you have with Angelbird Cfast? thanks

[Frederick Parr]

I use this one…with an SSD bought separately and it works great. Never had any problem with it. https://www.amazon.com/ZITAY-CCTECH...jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ==

Thanks! What SSD are you using, Samsung 860 EVO? Can you use a SSD larger then 1tb?

Can the Komodo media door close with the Zitay? thanks...

[Frederick Parr]

I am only using the samsung 1tb…..haven’t tried to put in bigger one yet. And No you can’t close the door with the zitay in…..I usually just take the door off if I’m shooting with the Zitay.

Thanks Frederick. Do you still use the cfast cards in some cases? Im curious if its possible to only use SSD media as a workflow.

I have one 512 cfast and the Zitay….has been no problem so far

Thank you....
