  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Social Network...

I have a lot of faith in both Fincher and Sorkin but I just can't get excited about a movie about what a tool Mark Zuckerberg is. I won't even comment on the cast :001_rolleyes:

But back on topic, grats Jim, that's a great quote! Looks like you guys have nailed it!

Robert has a very tight relationship with Sony, just like Fincher has a very tight relationship with the Viper guys. The fact that Fincher has not chosen his viper to shoot this movie is very significant in a number of different ways. I imagine he tested the new MX sensor and was so blown away that the choice was obvious, but that is just my guess.

I am sure Robert is right around the corner :hurray:

Jim or anyone in the 4k Projector Realm,

With all the 4k shooting, 4.5 shooting and beyond. What would be a good or the best 4k Projector I can hook into the Red Rocket? (and a 4k Projector that is not going to weigh in at 245 lbs.).

People who know me , know I like my toys. And having a 4k Projector would just be cool to have like a couple Red Cameras.

Sony is blowing out their 4k Projectors.. You can find the low lumens ones for under $30k now.

There are a couple more projectors just coming down the pike, The Christie 4k is supposed to be incredible ( but isn't on the market just yet as far as I know )

Those guys have digital figured out from all the articles I've read regarding their workflow. Very good guys to listen to. THANKS!!

Also - consider buying Cronenweth a super deluxe strip-o-gram. He probably just made you a million. Or 10. Certainly cements me wanting EPIC-X. (And for me every dollar actually matters so it's not like a small decision)

I seem to remember having read somewhere that he bought two or three F900s 2-3 years ago. I'm pretty sure (for now) he's a Sony guy... but who knows.
 
To say that I desperately want the new Mysterium-X Sensor is tantamount to saying that a Nuclear Bomb is a little itchy.
