So i've been looking at V-lock battery options for my imminent Scarlet-W and as much as i'd love to be rocking RedBricks or the likes my budget can't stretch to the amount I'd need for a decent day's shoot.
I stumbled upon a brand called Socanland which claim to make 230wh batteries with an LCD screen giving the readout of both percentage and time left for a very reasonable price. Of course this instantly solved my problems as it wouldn't matter whether it was a 'dumb' battery or not as the LCD would still give all the crucial readings and being from the all-day camcorder shooting background 230wh is a godsend to me.
Of course, the one major problem is that there is very little information on the batteries that exists on the web and I was wondering what everyone else thought of such a battery? a bit too risky considering it's almost non-existence of a user base?
