  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

So, will we se some demo images from the RED primes before 2009?

According to Big Jon, they are scheduled for "early 2009", which (as we know) could technically mean may 31st....

The RED primes were first announced at NAB 2007, and if I remember correctly they were then slated for an early 2008 release.

They look VERY interesting though, and have done all along, looks like we will have to wait some more, and we KICK ASS at waiting!

BTW: They were dropped from the store a while back, and are still not there.

Sounds somehow that RED is in a crisis over the holidays????!!!!!!!!!!

We have to figure out what is going on after... or???????!!!!!!!!
 
Hoping there will be some updates.
I'm debating to buy my 50-150mm now or put that $8500 towards a prime lens set which will get many more rentals.
Wishing we could have a little better ETA on backorders, but that's nothing new.
I know they're doing their best but theres still no pics on the store so I'm guessing a long time yet....
