Today I had the opportunity to test a set of S4s and a set of ultraprimes. Sadly enough I noticed that both the 15-40 and most of the Ultraprime wides porthole(the UPs more than the cooke). Also something that I had noticed when I tested the standard speeds and forgot to write about back then is that the portholing center is closer to the upper left corner of the frame than the actual center of it, which led to the conclusion that the mount is not centered to the sensor. Or not?
So... which 35mm lens series dont porthole?

Abel has sold many Ultra Primes to RED owners and rented them to shoots using RED cameras as well. No one has ever reported a problem. I personally have seen the UPs on REDs, including a 14mm, which would likely porthole more readily than any longer lenses. The field looked flat to me.
