Snyder handheld Rig

Hi everyone. I'd like to ask if somebody has tried to recreate the custom rig for Zack Snyder similar to the pics below. I wonder how to mount the GDU handles like that on the DSMC2




I really like this way where the camera is at shoulder level. Seems like a compact way to move the rig around through different shots.

Hi Mike, unfortunately haven't recreated it but I would assume that some kind of baseplate with Arri rosettes like the ARRI DSMC2 baseplate would work and you can position the side handles around the same place here in this photo. Then you could maybe mount some rods at the back and attach some sort of chest pad. This Snyder rig seems to be a customized DSMC2 body with ARRI rosettes built in on the side. If I manage to get the accesories together, I will post some photos here
