I believe you're pretty much stuck with 1/50, I only really tried it once with a Hensel flash system and at anything faster than that the flash didn't really show up properly.

Mark, works up to 1/75s for me, no idea why there is such an early limit. Faster than that you can still fire the flash via "strobe trigger" but it won't be in time for sync, not even a rolling shutter effect. Not sure, this might have been improved, I´m on a quite old FW.

I had the same experience as Ulf. anything faster and the flash simply wont show up in the still frame, I'm sure its got something to do with the readout/ sampling rate of the chip.

thats how I tried it but either way I don't think it makes a difference. still same sensor sampling/ processing.
