I'm wondering if anyone else has a DP6 with the same problem I do. I have a fixed noise pattern in the blacks that looks like it might be a defect. How to the blacks look in your DP6?

That's a bummer. I was hoping mine was defective. I really can't stand it for shooting low light scenes. It's pretty much useless because the noise is brighter than the picture. I'm sending it in for repair and I'll be interested to see what they say, if it's just made that way or what. Maybe I'll have to get a return.
Do you have any exposure tools on in the monitor? The DP6 uses the same panel as the tvlogic so it is most likely a firmware issue that could be updated with a fix once they have one.
I do, but I'm using this monitor mostly for my 1st AC's focus, so this noise business is a killer. We ended up using the Red touch (!) for focus during darker scenes.
I hope that's the case. I've got a repair RMA from them, so we'll see what happens.Mine doesn't seem to be as bad as your describing, it's certainly useable in low light and I'm pretty picky, sounds like a bad one maybe?
