Images are crystal clear. Ya just need to learn a few shooting techniques.

[Aaron Newsome]

Nice work Luis. Either you or Joel did a good job on the color. Looks nice.

Also, I sent you a private message.

Im up for this,
what techniques would you recommend for such a shoot?

Which shots would you replace.

This was shot on a Cooke 20-100 not a light beast
all hand held
with a red brick
absolutely no hand held rig just the lens body and battery with raid.
1 operator myself
run n gun no permits get the shot and go
Detroit city in bad and good parts of the city
my self and 1 person Joel, to do it all 100%
Over cast day no lights no bounce on foot.

Thanks on the color grading
that was challenging and took my time in Color from the RAW files to try and get more out of what we had to work with.

... a little more planning in your shots and overall aesthetic would have made it better. Better composition, lighting ..just overall style in general. Maybe experimenting with different color palletes ... few more locations ... just suggestions

[BigLu]

Like the suggestions,
Thank you
not that its an excuse but the challenge was set we shot a Kiss video day prior and then 4 Slum Village videos next day
this video was shot in 2.5 hrs with more time, prep and crew no doubt we feel we would have established a more profound video.

2 guys 4 videos 1 day
we were happy.
