One of our future clients asked to get some test footage to put through Boujou as they will be inserting CG characters in their film, so we shot a heap of stuff in the laneways around our office, including this (imho) rather nice shot:

(one-light in REDCINE, no other corrections applied)

Click the download link on Vimeo for the ~140MB MP4 version, with much less artifacting.

I think REDCODE really held its own in a scene with this much detail; XDCAM would have broken down in tears :)

Nice.

Sorry for being confused, but what did you track here. Is all the cam moves tracked on the guy from a larger FOV?

Possibly me being veeeeery stupid here, but so be it!

i dont think theres any tracking IN the shot. this is the one of the clips the client will you to test how the RED tracks.

tracking test shot, pre-tracking

I don't think anything was tracked here, it's just source for their client.

Just a nice shot showing movement and colour all holding together nicely!

EDIT - damn, too slow!

Brandon has it correct. If I can get a post-track shot with something comped in I'll put it up. Not sure if the artist will use this particular shot, though.
