This happened a couple days ago on set while shooting a performance video. We saw laggy, slow playback on the clips when playing back in-camera. Looked like it was playing at half speed. Each take was around 15-20 min, somewhere in that ballpark, so not *too* long. Pulled it into RCX to check, and everything was normal.
Shooting 8K 17:9 LQ 23.98fps on a Red 2TB card, while using the DSMC3 monitor. Latest (beta) firmware for everything, with Page OS5.
We were on a bit of a time crunch so I neglected to check the Teradek feed on playback to see if it was the camera stuttering or just the DSMC3 Monitor. In the moment my priority was to pull it into RCX as fast as possible to confirm the footage was safe, so we could continue shooting.
The second Raptor on set didn’t have the issue, but probably isn’t a good “control subject.” It was running release firmware, but was shooting at 5K so the data rates were significantly lower. The two Komodos, C and D cam, were solid, playing back smoothly at 6K.
Any folks experience the same?
