So I posted my first random tests shots using my Dragon from about a month ago, one of the reasons I didn't post it earlier was in the view both on Premiere & Resolve it looked highly noisy. When I dropped the raw shots R3D's into a 4K timeline in premiere and exported them using PRORES 422(HQ) at 4K what appeared to be a noisy shot seemed clean when played back on 27" Cinema Display, and even looked clean on YouTube (uploaded it as a 4K files).
So here is my question - when I have done similar exports placing the footage on a 1080p time line it seems the noise is still there, so should I be editing in a 4K line?
Here is the link to the video on youtube (https://youtu.be/671dGcUZsXg) - if you watch the shot starting around 12 seconds, you see an exterior just as the final rays of sunlight have gone down light by incandescent string lights and nothing else. Like I said earlier in Resolve on my ASUS display set up to be a "Reference" monitor coming out of a Blackmagic Monitor Mini via HDMI they shot appears almost unusable.
Any thoughts would be great.
