If I get a Scarlet one if the things I will want to shoot is wild life and that will require the use of a long lens.
I will be getting a 2/3 version so I can use the magnification you get when you use a 35 mm lens on a 2/3 sensor.

Has Red addressed this problem.
I have experienced this with other CMOS cameras that I have tested

Thanks
Dave

slr cameras that can record video have a read/reset time of 18 microseconds (µs), which is the time it takes to "read" the sensor one 'line' at a time. the red one is much better than a slr, with a time of 9 microseconds .... the scarlet and epic will almost cut that in half to 5 µs..... movie film is equivalent to like 4 µs just based on the way the shutter works. so they claim skew will be ideal with these sensors. that is to say it will be present, to make it look like film rater than more harsh like ccd video, where the sensor has a global shutter that reads all the lines at the same instant.
