The 24mm x1.33 S35 is pretty nice, but you should keep in mind that it has a bit of barrel distortion as it has a horizontal FoV of a 18mm.

The 35mm x1.6 FF on the other hand has a little less distortion and the horizotal FoV of a 20mm.

So would you say that the 35mm x1.6 FF is sufficient for nice wider shots then? 18mm vs 20mm doesn't seem too far off.

I've also been researching some of the other budget options out there for anamorphic like Great Joy. Have you had any experience with them?

Depends what you are looking for.
The 24mm gives you the vertical FoV of a 24mm instead of the 35mm.
Personally, I prefer to work with lenses from the same set.

Nope, no experience with Great Joy or Laowa Nanomorphs

but I have some hopes that they will release a 135mm x1.6 FF as I was told to expect to receive the 135mm one to complete the series and they have yet to reach out to me.

My set just arrived today. I gotta say that the build quality is really impressive. At least to a novice like me coming from Rokinon Cine DS lenses. The Sirui have a really nice weight to them and they look and feel sturdy and professional. I'm looking forward to testing them out this week.

So, the carry case they sent does have a slot for the 135mm. Do you know if they are for sure releasing a 1.6 version of the 135mm. I would definitely like to get a 135mm now for sure since there is already a slot for it and the OCD in me is going to have a fit every time I open the case and see the empty slot. LOL

Also, I noticed there is what appears to be another small slot or space for something in between the thread rings and 1.25 adapter. Any idea what goes here?

Hi Gregory. I did finally order the 24mm 1.33x S35 to have alongside my full 1.6x set and the 135mm 1.8x lens.

I plan on using all of these Sirui lenses together on a short film this summer, and I was wondering if you had any recommendations with using this mixture of lenses on RED Komodos. Can you elaborate on the "logistical nightmare" you referred to?

Any recommendations would be really great. Thanks!
