"Sincérité" 2nd PLACE WINNER at the "Girl and a Gun" OTT Films competition

The rules implied that the film had to be shot handheld, less than 5 cuts, less than 5 minutes and of course, inspired by the famous Jean-Luc Godard quote "All you need to make a film is a girl and a gun"...

I literally picked up my Red, rang my neighbours, got their daughter undressed and filmed mood shots of her for an hour. She had never done that before and we had a lot of fun. I then had a lot of fun with the French New Wave as I edited and color graded the result! Shot and cut in one afternoon. That was a fun and constructive sunday!

Looks great, Lewis! Great job. :-)

I think a move to France is in order for all of us.

"got their daughter undressed and filmed mood shots of her for an hour"

Heh, that would probably piss of my neighbor....

However, I think that young girl does have loads of talent.....

I forgot to mention we're close friends and I know their daughter well... :smile5:

It's funny the image people have of France... It always cracks me up!

Yep, the little Pauline has got true talent, sincerity and naiveté. I'm glad I caught that before she loses it...
