Hi,
Last 'new' post on EPIC production by Jannard was on 12.3.2011

Code:
We are in the process of moving EPIC production from Stage 6 at RED Studios Hollywood to the permanent location in Irvine. There will be a bit of downtime during the move.

We have heard some competitors say that we have only shipped a few EPICs out to "my friends". While it is true that some early RED ONE customers, which also happen to have become my friends, have received EPIC-Ms... but the total number of EPIC-Ms out now is in excess of 250. I think that is half the population of Alexa's. The number shipped EPICs should surpass 500 before NAB.

After that total silence on the matter...I think something good is coming next...:cheers2:

Haha, are you reading that as M.D.Y?

Don't think movings an easy thing to happen, the next major post will probably be all the details everyone is dying to know or a tease lol...that's just a guess though, calm before the storm?

Just realized that 12.03.2011 is the European way of saying March 12, as opposed to December 3...

Off-topic: Funny thing is that this problem caused a continuity error in an episode of "Space: 1999" -- in a flashback scene, a news broadcaster a few months before the launch of the Ultra Probe says that it is September 3 even though we later hear that the launch occurred on June 6. The actor playing the newscaster was American and read "9-3-1996" in the script as September 3 instead of March 9.

Oops... its should be March 12,2011 to be more specific.

Jim's probably driving the moving van, and you are not supposed to post to REDuser while driving. Orrrrrrr... maybe he's just kicked back in Las Vegas waiting for NAB.

I reality, he's probably trying to line up new suppliers.

David, did they catch the mistake before releasing the movie? That's a funny anecdote.

Funny...that's how we do it here in Australia as well...come to think of it I only know of the US doing it that way so sorta kinda makes the States the odd one out to everyone else:)

Yeah, but we are special right? Powerful or rich or something. So everyone should just play along with our rules.

Or something similarly jingoistic.

Hey ... we have to keep up appearances ya know.

Sorry for the confusion. Oh wait, I'm American... so no I'm not.
