It seems sigma art 24mm has been announced this after noon in japan.
So, sigma prime lens has been line up of 24mm, 35mm, and 50mm.
How do you think about their announcement?
My thoughts?
In my opinion, sigma lens is really well built and price range is great for indie film makers like my self. I always look for a chance to invest lens to upgrade, but there wasn't a specific chance to upgrade from nikon AIS and Mamiya 645 lenses.Rokinon was in my range to upgrade, but I felt I would stick with Nikon rather than Rokinon.
Suddenly, Sigma art hit the photography world, and I have been waiting for Art prime 24,35 and 50 mm set.
I think I am gonna go for it, it's like a future proof sharpness - I think even this lens could handle the 8K sensor(32mpx?), since the lens could handle 36mpx in open aperture.
