I wonder if this lens will be supported on the Komodo? I know third party RF lenses have been hit or miss on non-Canon bodies...

Yeah, it's a great lens. I too wish it was a tad lighter though...If that lens was parafocal and weighed a bit less it would be the most perfect low cost lenses I ever come across.
Despite that it's still among one of the most perfect low cost lenses I ever come across.
Sigma generally makes some very impressive lenses particularly their wide open aperture performance.
@scorsesefan $350 for this was an excellent deal.

Bought the sigma 17-40 FE version and try with Komodo-x Z mount & FEtoZ adapter. Everything works fine including the aperture.Hi, guys. I'm going to pull the trigger at sigma 17-40 f1.8. Any update about compatibility with komodo-x besides the f9 aperture limitation mentioned by Howie Roll?
