  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Sigma 18-35mm f1.8 vs. Canon 16-35mm f2.8

The Sigma is more like a WIDE to MID range zoom - its not a Tokina 11-16 WIDE zoom. But I would certainly consider 18mm on a Dragon Sensor a wide lens. Seriously - this lens is constantly blowing my mind it's SHARP wide open at 1.8 and built like a tank. In fact I would say the build quality on the Sigma 18-35 is far superior to any of the Canon L Glass.

We have, and LOVE, the 18-35 Sigma f1.8. In fact, I'm going to be selling our 24mm and 35mm Canon L glass because of it. The real question for me is whether the 50-100 Sigma would lead me to sell the 50mm and 85mm Canon f1.2 L lenses, as well.
