HI everyone,

I've been looking to upgrade from my canon 100-400. To start, I shoot wildlife and while 400 is a very nice focal length for animals, Sometimes I feel like I just can't get close enough so that's why I was thinking of getting the Sigma 150-600. Again, I film in the wild so when I shoot at 400, my 5.6 aperture is totally fine to work with and I get great DOF with it. The Sigma is wide open at 6.3 at 600 and f5 at 150. I'm assuming I won't really see much of a difference in DOF with this? I want to know if you think the Sigma is much sharper than the 100-400 because if not, then I would consider getting the 100-400 MKII but it still gives me that lack of 200mm. Also, off brand Image Stabilization doesn't work with RED for some reason so I'll be losing IS with the Sigma as well... Also kinda worries me a bit when shooting in windy environments. the Canon's IS is great when I need it. Here are the links!
