  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Just bought a Brand new Sidekick and installed it (with no battery/power) and was working, then the stopped working, the Menu and Mode/ABCD buttons work. But the enter/ arrows/ turn buttons don't? Please help thanks
 
Updated the Firmware and now its just dead?
 
Do you have a touch screen?? Ive notice that in some situations you need a touch screen attached for upgrades???
And maybe file a ticket with the service folks...
See if you can roll back to an earlier build and make sure that Side Kick is seated on the camera.. Im sure you have done all this but maybe take it off and put it back on after you have rolled back the firmware and then go through the reconnect modules part of the menu.
I kind of had a similar situation but after a reload of firmware and a couple reboots it came back and is working fine..

still not working RED should give me a call monday, I just hope its not my brain..
 
Tried the Sidekick on the another Scar Weapon and still not working I think I got a bad Sidekick at least its not the Brain :)
